MARANT is awarded the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) relocation project

The project involves the relocation of all HBC employees currently accommodated at 401 Bay Street (Simpsons Tower), to HBC's facility in Brampton, Ontario. Phase 1 of the project involved a 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse conversion to swing space. Renovations to HBC's three-storey building at 8925 Torbram Road will take place in phases, as each floor is approximately 70,000 sq. ft. Renovations are now underway and completion is scheduled for December 2008/January 2009. The project manager for HBC is The Facility Management Group Inc. The design consultant is HOK Canada. The engineers are Ehvert Engineering. The construction manager/general contractor is MARANT Construction Ltd.
