A Corporate Law Firm with a fun streak!

Wildeboer Dellelce LLP is a Toronto legal firm that was looking to create a very different image to that of the traditional law firm for its new office premises. MARANT was retained by the client and client's architect (Giannone Architects) to provide construction management and general contracting services to build out the new 20,000 sq. ft. office facility located at 365 Bay Street, Toronto. Giannone's design direction was aimed at "honouring the boutique law firm's work hard, play hard spirit."
The project spans the top three floors of a 1960's tower in Toronto's financial district and the design for the space is bold and colourful with clean lines and imaginative features such as the wood slatted reception desk and a brass wall. An interconnecting stair (which is wrapped is fuchsia felt), skylight and glass fronts on the surrounding meeting rooms creates a bright, open and dynamic work environment. General office and feature areas host bold accent colours and special areas were created for the employees, including a lounge with a pool table to enhance and create a balance between business and pleasure. The project, which was also featured in the June 2008 issue of AZURE Magazine, was completed in January 2008.
