2009 Toronto Santa Claus Parade

When the founding directors of the Toronto Santa Claus Parade, Ron Barbaro and Norman Jewison, were looking for clowns to participate in the 2009 parade and they found two lively ones at MARANT Construction Ltd.!
Toronto's annual Santa Claus parade is the largest of its kind in the world. Isabel Alves-Vettoretto and Jennifer Vopni participated in the November 15, 2009 parade as Celebrity Clowns and had a wonderful (and exhausting) time meeting and greeting the hundreds of thousands of excited kids and parents that attended the event. The Celebrity Clowns are the very first feature of the parade – dancing, singing, clowning around and tossing over a million candy canes to the smiling crowds along the 5.7 kilometre parade route. MARANT's two clowns joined over 300 clowns that donated $1,100 each to participate in this wonderful event. All proceeds are used to stage a parade with 26 floats, 20 bands and, of course Santa!
