MARANT Celebrates It's 10th Anniversary

MARANT Construction Limited is celebrating its 10th ANNIVERSARY this
year by launching a "new" look to their already successful "brand".
With the assistance of our graphic design specialists, we have maintained
several of the key elements of our former brand identity (i.e. the
company name and colours) but incorporated contemporary refinements
to bring about a fresh, clean, professional look that will support
our business plan for the next 10 years.

Team MARANT and the Ride to Conquer Cancer

On June 20-22, 2009, Gino Vettoretto and Carlo Martini participated
in a 2-day major cycling event called "The Ride to Conquer Cancer"
benefiting The Princess Margaret Hospital. Gino single handedly raised
$27,650 and completed the 200 km ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls
in good form! Carlo Martini easily completed the ride and topped up
the MARANT's contribution by another $9,475 for a total contribution
to Princess Margaret Hospital of
$37,125. A fantastic
accomplishment in this economic environment. BRAVO Team MARANT!

MARANT is awarded KINROSS GOLD CORPORATION

In February 2009 MARANT was awarded Kinross Gold Corporation's project
to construct their office facility at the new 25 York Street – TELUS
Tower, which is targeting LEED Gold Certification. The Kinross project
consists of 50,000 RSF over 2 floors with possible expansion.
The new facility, which is being constructed in conjunction with
IBI Group, will take full advantage of the unique raised access floor
construction. Although Kinross is not seeking LEED certification,
they will be utilizing quality finishes and a layout that captures
the high natural light levels and vistas.

Since January 2009 we have been busy on a number
of significant projects all across the GTA, in addition to our project
for Kinross Gold Corporation which is a story on its own! Some of
the projects that have been keeping us busy include:

- MDS Inc. (52,000 sf) – Mississauga
- Rotman School of Business – University of Toronto (30,000
sf) - Toronto
- Vox Data (26,000 sf) – North York
- Walton Capital (14,000 sf) – Toronto
