MARANT V.P. Elected to Board of Governors of the ROM
As an organization, MARANT has always been committed to giving back to our community, whether it is to sponsor the construction of a youth shelter, an amateur sports group, or raise much needed money for the Cancer Research Foundation of the Princess Margaret Hospital through the annual RIDE to Conquer Cancer.
On that note, we are very pleased to announce that MARANT’s very own V.P. of Finance, Isabel Alves-Vettoretto, was elected to the Board of Governors for the Royal Ontario Museum, a body that governs how donations to the ROM are utilized.
Established in 1992 as the ROM Foundation, the office of the ROM Governors is responsible for all philanthropic activities in support of the Museum’s highest priorities. Its work enables the ROM to better service its diverse and ever-changing community, by fostering long-term sustainable relationships of exceptional value both to the institution and its donors. The office of the ROM Governors is supported by an independent Board, which provides leadership in a wide range of philanthropic activities supporting ROM programs, research, collections, galleries, exhibitions and outreach programs.
We are very proud of Isabel’s contribution to the Board of Governors. She is a perfect addition and will help to ensure that this treasured institution continues to fulfill the city’s need for history and culture. Art and design are the cornerstones of our industry, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting institution with which to engage.
